Follow the Sun
A study in light and perception

Sun, Reimagined is a photo journey that invites you to see the sun a little differently. Not through AI or digital tricks, but through what really happens in the world around us.

Photographed in Istanbul during August, the project follows the sun as it moves through buildings, clouds, reflections, and time. Often imagined as a perfect circle, the sun reveals itself differently each day, shaped by the spaces it passes through.

We shift through experience, memory, struggle, and joy.
We’re shaped by the things we go through, just like the light.

This is the sun, reimagined.
It's us, reimagined too.

Alice in Wonderland
A Long Exposure of Istanbul’s Time

I did not follow Alice because I knew where she was going.
I followed her because she disappeared.

She appeared only once in Istanbul, and then, quite naturally, disappeared, as all Alices do. Perhaps she slipped between moments, or perhaps she fell into her hole, where journeys begin by mistake and continue through curiosity. From that instant, the city became a question, and my work became a search.

To look for Alice, I learned to stretch time. Streets refused to stand still, light learned to wander, and movement became a sentence written slowly across the frame. Nothing remained fixed for long. Istanbul revealed itself not as a place to arrive at, but as a place to wait.
